Usher's Wife Stable and Recovering From Surgery

Usher's wife is now listed as in stable condition after complications from her surgery in Brazil.

Usher's wife, Tameka Raymond, is reportedly in stable condition following complications from her surgery in Brazil this past weekend. Reps for Usher, the R&B sensation known not only for his smooth voice but also for his impeccable pecs and abs, released a statement on behalf of the couple to Access Hollywood Monday morning: "Tameka Raymond is in stable condition after suffering complications from routine surgery in Brazil. Her husband Usher is with her at the hospital. No further details will be released, and the family requests privacy at this difficult time."

After being put into a medically induced coma because of complications from her surgery, 37 year old Tameka is now recovering. A neurosurgeon from LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center reportedly flew to Brazil yesterday to help with Tameka.

Usher, who was supposed to perform at the pre-Grammy party thrown by music's Clive Davis, backed out to fly to Brazil to be with his wife. Josh Groban filled in for the missing Usher at the party.
