Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken to star in "The Irishman"

Real-life story of Irish mobster Danny Greene

Christopher Walken poses at the 9th 'Marrakech Film Festival - Morocco

Danny Greene had many jobs in his lifetime, he was a marine, a dockworker, a man of the union, a mobster and even an FBI informant. "The Irishman," slated for a late 2010 release, chronicle his struggles with the Irish and Italian mobs. He was in the teamsters and eventually met the infamous Jimmy Hoffa.

This movie, with an all-star cast, details his life during his criminal career, and looks to be very interesting at the very least. Ray Stevenson, who played Titus Pullo on the hit series "Rome," will be playing the lead role of Danny Greene. But the supporting cast proves to be an all-out powerhouse, with Christopher Walken as a night club owner and loan shark. Cast members also include Val Kilmer, Guy Ritchie favorite Vinnie Jones, "Goodfellows" star Paul Sorvino and "Full Metal Jacket's" Gomer Pyle Vincent D'Onofrio.

The film is set for a fall release.
