'Vampire Diaries' star Kat Graham signs a record deal

Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham is not just an actress, she’s also a singer. Graham solidified her place in the music industry, as she has just signed a record deal with A&M/Octone Records.

Graham informed fans of her newest venture by posting a video to YouTube explaining, "I am so, so excited to share my big, special announcement with you guys. As you can see I'm in a recording studio... the reason is I am now signed to A&M/Octone Records.”

Celebs Gather News Channel reports that Graham continues on in her video message, “It's my first time being signed to a major label and we have a single. The new song that you guys will be hearing is called Put Your Graffiti On Me. We're shooting a music video...and I'm so excited that you guys are going to be a part of this journey with me!"

Graham is reportedly also a backup dancer, so she’s multi-talented. She will be releasing pop music, and she will still appear on The CW’s Vampire Diaries.

Contact Music reports that she has appeared in music videos for big names in the music industry such as Akon, Nelly, John Legend and Justin Bieber. She was formerly a backup dancer for stars such as Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams.
