Vampire Girl May Cause Trouble For Us Mortals
It seems dating a vampire doesn’t get you out of your civil duties, like so many young girls seem to think. Kristen Stewart, the star of the teen romantic thriller Twilight, was reported as a member on a jury that presided over a prostitution case in Los Angeles. The three day trial, according to TMZ, discussed whether the defendant should be found guilty for trying to persuade an undercover officer into having sex with them. Like any good thriller though, the decision of the court was kept secret from the public. Maybe Stephanie Meyer will write a novel about a vampire undercover cop who meets a prostitute and helps her see the light? Can you spell instant flop?
After the hearing, a security guard, presumably a big fan of Stewart’s, asked to take a picture with the actress; who graciously accepted. Of course, the photo was then posted online by the guard’s wife and, for lack of a better term, the media sunk its teeth deep into the picture’s neck. The climax of the story? It is illegal to disclose a celebrity’s involvement in a court case; even in the slightest amount. The icing on the cake? The parties involved; including the guard himself, may lose their jobs.
“"Right now my husband and the security guard are in trouble for it having gone up and second because it is confidential when celebrities are in court.” The security guard’s wife wrote online. “Now I feel bad. ... I am really scared, because I think it is possible that they could lose their jobs."
My only question is, shouldn’t Alice Cullen have seen this coming a long time ago?
