Vanessa Williams Defends Lindsay Lohan

Vanessa Williams has come out to defend Lindsay Lohan in the aftermath of the young actress being dropped from "Ugly Betty," on which Williams appears.

The amount of episodes Lohan was scheduled to appear on was cut down from six to four, and there were multiple on-site sources saying yesterday that Lohan's work ethic and personality were to blame.

Williams, who has been nominated for an Emmy for her role on the show, says that the stories that Lohan is difficult to work with are false.

"That's what the press does, that's what gossip's about, and media is about," Williams said, obviously not having read TheCelebrityCafe.com. "I had a few scenes with Lindsay. She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and in the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared. In terms of me working with Lindsay, she was professional, she knew her lines and she was great with me."
