Velvet Revolver Splits with Singer
Rock band Velvet Revolver announced Tuesday they were splitting with Scott Weiland.
Scott Weiland was kicked out of the rock band Velvet Revolver due to his "erratic" behavior the other band members said, reported Reuters.com. The four other members made the announcement Tuesday that they were splitting with Weiland.
Velvet Revolver's guitarist, according to MTV.com, said in a statement, "This band is all about its fans and its music, and Scott Weiland isn't 100 percent committed to either. Among other things, his increasing erratic onstage behavior and personal problems have forced us to move on."
Weiland had recently gotten back with an original band Stone Temple Pilots, Reuters reported. Apparently that band is supposed to be back on tour starting May 17-18 at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio.
