Later on reaching a career high with the infamous "The Addams Family" theme song, and thus with a snap of his fingers he instantly became a success.
Although he composed several popular songs such as "There's a Faraway Look in Your Eye" and songs for "Shirley Temple's Storybook" he is best known for the Addams Family theme song. It is a legacy which, he said in a 2008 interview with CBS "Sunday Morning," afforded him his home in Bel-Air.
