The ladies dished about their respective weddings

There were two weddings just one day apart from each other from the ladies of The View, as Joy Behar got married on August 12, and Sherri Shepherd tied the knot a day later.

Returning from their summer break and launching Season 15 of their show, the brides opened up about wedding details.

CNN reports that Shepherd, who married Lamar Sally in Chicago and filmed a wedding special for the Style network, wore her wedding dress on-air.

“I'm going to make this marriage work if it kills me," she told the audience. She also dished, "One of my bridesmaids, I think it was Niecy Nash, said, 'Don't wear any underwear.’ "They knew me and Sal had been celibate for 11 months, so [she wanted me to do] anything [I could] do to get him turned back on."

But when her microphone fell down her back, knowing she had no underwear on sort of freaked her out. Us Magazine reports that she said, "They were lifting my dress and I was screaming, 'No, I have no panties on,' and one bridesmaid thought I kept screaming, 'My pancreas! My pancreas!'"

She even discussed some highlights, "That was the best time, dancing with my son," she said. "He walked me down the aisle. He wasn't nervous."

Behar, on the other hand, had a more low key affair when she married Steve Janowitz after 29 years together. She admitted that the recent legalization of same-sex marriage in New York had something to do with her decision to make her relationship official.

"It did have an influence on me -- it brought to my consciousness why gays needed to get married," she said. "And I thought it was a good reason for me to get married. And so did Steve, so we did it."
