Aerosmith lead singer announced that he and his wife are separated
Steven Tyler and his wife, fashion designer Teresa Barrick, are putting a hold on their 17-year marriage. The couple have two children: Chelsea, 16, and Taj, 13.
"We're just a family trying to work through a difficult time," Tyler said in a statement, specifically directed to the tabloid media. "A little privacy and sensitivity for Teresa, my children and myself would be nice."
Tyler has two other daughters. Plus-size model Mia Tyler, 26, is from his previous marriage to Cyrinda Fox. He had actress Liv Tyler, 27, with Bebe Buell.
