Wal-Mart Scores Springsteen Best-of Set

The Boss is going retail!

Bruce Springsteen has signed an exclusive deal with Wal-Mart to sell his forthcoming best-of collection, LiveDaily reports.

Springsteen and the E Street Band's Greatest Hits album will feature 12 tracks and will not include any of Springsteen's solo material. The disc will hit Wal-Mart shelves on Jan. 13. Two weeks later, the band's album of new material, Working on a Dream, will be released.

Working on a Dream has 12 tracks, as well as a bonus one. This album is a follow-up to Magic, the band's Grammy winning and critically acclaimed disc that was released last year.

Springsteen had the opportunity to perform an acoustic version of the title track during a rally for President-elect Barack Obama in October.

Springsteen and the E Street Band ended a massive tour for the album in August. They performed 100 shows for over 2 million people, as per Springsteen's Web site.
