Ware, Cowboys Agree on Contract Extension
The Pro Bowl linebacker will receive a major contract extension from the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Morning News reports the Dallas Cowboys and linebacker DeMarcus Ware have agreed to a lucrative 6-year contract extension through 2015. While exact details of the contract have not been revealed, Ware is to receive $40 million guaranteed.
According to FOXSports.com, the deal will be worth nearly $13 million per season.
Ware, widely considered to be the NFL's best defensive player, has had four sacks in the last two games. He led the NFL with 20 sacks last season.
