Warner Bros. Sues over "Two and a Half Men"

On Wednesday, a lawsuit was filed against the CBS network by Warner Bros. Television, alleging that the network owes them nearly $70 million for production costs and licensing the hit TV show.

According to the Associated Press, the CBS network had allegedly granted Warner Bros. the ability to recoup $49 million in losses from season one through four. The lawsuit, filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, states, "CBS has reaped the benefit of the tremendous success of 'Two and a Half Men' but wants to deny Warner Bros. the right to its agreed-upon share. It should not be permitted to do so."

Since the show, starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer, has remained a hit in its fifth and six seasons, Warner Bros. is claiming that soon CBS will owe them $20 million in revenue.
