Warrant Put Out for Lohan's Arrest
The Beverly Hills Superior Court has put out a warrant for the arrest of singer/actress Lindsay Lohan, according to People. The warrant is related to a 2007 DUI hit-and-run case.
In July of 2007, Lohan was arrested for hijacking an SUV with two people inside and wildly chasing another SUV through Santa Monica, Calif. The other SUV was driven by the mother of her former personal assistant. Lohan is now serving a three-year period of probation for her second DUI conviction.
The police released a statement, which read, "A warrant was in fact issued Friday for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The circumstances leading to the issuance by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Ms. Lohan will surrender herself so this matter can be resolved in a timely manner."
Lohan was seen at the Chateau Marmont with friends on Friday night. No comment has been made by her lawyer or her PR rep.
