Was January Jones Drinking?

Earlier this week, January Jones, star of Mad Men, crashed her Range Rover into three parked cars when driving home from the London West Hollywood Hotel. Jones claimed that she lost control of her vehicle when the paparazzi began to follow her.

Jones apparently called celebrity chef Bobby Flay, who she had been with in a group of people earlier that evening, immediately following the accident. Flay arrived to the scene within 10 minutes, and convinced Jones to go home. Jones suspiciously returned about 40 minutes later in a new outfit and chewing gum.

Flay claimed that he had seen Jones drinking beer earlier in the night, and accident witnesses claimed Jones smelled like alcohol when she got out of her vehicle following the crash. A field sobriety test was never administered because police claimed that there was no evidence of alcohol present and too much time had passed since the time of the accident.
