Was Mischa Barton Hospitalized Because of Suicidal Behavior?

An anonymous source close to Mischa Barton is claiming she was hospitalized because of suicidal behavior.

E! Online is reporting that the source is close to Barton and knows about her real life drama. The insider also said that the suicide attempt may have coincided with Barton's bosses at the CW's "The Beautiful Life," who had recently decided they no longer needed the star.

"She was being crazy that day when she went to Cedars Sinai Medical Center," said another anonymous source close to Barton, who was with her right before she entered into the hospital.

Barton's rep has denied all of the above accusations. "Absolutely false. Your source is far from knowledgeable, as nothing they've told you is true, inclusive of the suicide attempt," said the rep.
