Wayne Brady Getting Divorced
Wayne Brady and his wife, Mandie Taketa Brady, have filed for divorce according to a report by TMZ.com.
The divorce papers were filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the end of the marriage. Taketa is requesting joint custody of their 4 year-old daughter, Maile Masako Brady.
The papers show that the couple actually split in April 5, 2006, but did not official file the paperwork until today. According to divorce documents the couple had been married since 1999 and split on the day of their 7th wedding anniversary.
Wayne Brady is an Emmy-winning comedian known for his work in shows such as "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and his own daytime talk show, "The Wayne Brady Show." In addition he has contributed to the show "Robot Chicken" and made an appearance on "Chappelle's Show."
