Wayne Brady's Wife Files for Divorce
The life of a Hollywood marriage is short lived, that much is certain. The only thing left to determine is how and when the marriage will fall apart. Mandie Brady, the wife of comedian Wayne Brady, filed for divorce, according to court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. She states the reasoning behind the dissolution of their marriage as "irreconcilable differences." Mandie is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple's daughter, 4-year-old Maile. The papers stated that the couple has been separated since April 2006, 7 years after they wed in 1999. Wayne Brady, whose credits include "The Wayne Brady Show" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?," has not commented on the action thus far. He was awarded two daytime Emmys for his role as host of his talk show and he also won an Emmy Award for "Whose Line," an improvisational game show, hosted by Drew Carey.
