Wedding Boogie New YouTube Sensation
A wedding party making their entrance via dancing down the aisle in a St. Paul, Minn., church is the latest YouTube sensation.
Jill and Kevin Heinz, both 28, shocked their guests as they and their wedding party boogied down the aisle to Chris Brown's "Forever" at Christ Lutheran Church on June 20.
The ceremony commenced with ushers throwing programs into the air and showing off slick moves to the audience. The seven bridesmaids and five groomsmen wore sunglasses, with one groomsman walking on his hands during his entrance. The groom somersaulted in with the bride grooving and pumping her bouquet into the air shortly afterward.
Since Kevin Heinz posted the video on the Internet on July 19, the untraditional wedding entrance has garnered more than 1.6 million views as of early Friday afternoon.
Jill Heinz told the "Today" show that dancing down the aisle was her idea.
"I danced growing up and was a dancer through college and loved dance as way to express yourself and share joy. So, it was something I always thought about doing," she said.
Kevin Heinz was a little unsure about the idea at first, but eventually decided he would please his then-fiancee. It seemed to catch on however, for his grandmother reportedly showed off some moves as she left the church, according to ABCNews.com.
