This Week in Music: Foo Fighters on ‘SNL’

The wait is almost over, Foo Fighters fans. With just days before their album Wasting Light drops, Dave Grohl and band mates gave a brief preview of what’s to come on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.

Everlong singers teamed up with Helen Mirren to guest appear this weekend; the night ending with Grohl’s face is Mirren’s chest. Regardless of all this racy behavior, we were privileged with live performances of "Rope" and "Walk".

Wasting Light hits shelves Tuesday, April 12. Videos from their SNL appearance are available via Billboard.

Katy Perry is still at the top of the charts with single "E.T.", off album Teenage Dream and featuring Kanye West. Other familiar faces this week include Rihanna, Cee Lo Green, and Lady Gaga. The Black Eyed Peas also reached number three with their new hit "Just Can’t Get Enough".
