What's Cookin' with Cook?

Last Tuesday night, David Cook defeated David Archuleta with over a 12 million vote victory. Since this season's finale of the Fox hit television show, American Idol, fans have one question in mind: What's this year's winner we've grown to know, David Cook, doing this week? Is he starting an album right away? Signing autographs? Going home to celebrate with family?

According to Regis and Kelly, David Cook's held off on all that. Rumor has it: He was spotted on a dinner date with former Idol, Kimberly Caldwell. Caldwell was a season two contestant on American Idol, and like all, keeps in touch.

Cook spoke with Regis and Kelly after the date with Caldwell. He explained how they met through the show, and did have dinner together. According to AP (New York), Cook implied that they would have dinner again sometime very soon.
