What's left of Nick Lachey goes on the road

Nick Lachey embarks on his first solo tour in September.

With his divorce from Jessica Simpson finally official, Nick Lachey is jumping on the success of his new album "What's Left of Me" by going on his first solo tour in September, Jive Records announced Monday.

The tour stops at 26 cities across the continent throughout September and October including New York, Toronto, Atlanta, St. Louis and Orlando. Jive said, "Fans around the country will be able to see him perform live for the first time. These shows will be performed in a series of smaller theaters, allowing intimate concerts with fans."

Lachey is enjoying huge success with his second album after his first record "SoulO" flopped in 2003. "What's Left of Me" debuted at No. 2 and has sold over 500,000 copies since its release nine weeks ago. Its title track peaked at No. 5 on Billboard's Hot 100, while the second single "I Can't Hate You Anymore" is due on airwaves July 24.
