What's Next for Google?
When Sergey Brin and Larry Page brought us Google, nobody expected the exponential growth of products and capital ventures that would come from the company. Google is now the world's most popular search engine. Not only has Google provided us with a search engine, but now users can use Google local to see actual satellite photographs of their homes, or send text messages directly from their browsers. With Google's new strategic alliance there is no telling what else is to come from the rapidly growing company.
So what's next for Google? Movies. The latest expedition Brin and Page have taken under their wings is the production of a low-budget independent film written/directed by a Stanford friend of theirs. The film "Broken Arrows" cost approximately $1 million, and boasts a small cast starring: Peter Quartaroli, Lori Petty, Mackenzie Fergins, Kristie Cox, and David Fine. The movie's website, http://www.brokenarrowsthemovie.com/, states that the movie is: A story of love and a struggle over the virtues of free will versus destiny. It follows the journey of Reese, who becomes a hitman after he loses his wife and unborn child, as he confronts the forces of love, faith, and destiny.
