What's Next for Kiss? A Kid's Show?

Legendary band Kiss will be premiering a new children's show in Canada.

Next to Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants, who would have thought that the new face of children’s TV would be legendary rock band Kiss. According to MTV, Kiss is set to star in an all-new kids show for Canadian audiences.

The article states that the new show will be in the format of a half-hour comedy. Children will be introduced to the band and each of its members’ unique personas and individual looks. The show has gone into production with the company E1.

Although not much more is stated about what fans can expect in the new show, Kiss is not a stranger to branching out and marketing themselves into what may seem like unusual outlets.

The article addresses how Kiss is much more than just the music. With the band’s iconic images, their famous painted faces could be seen on any type of merchandise ranging from action figures to toothbrushes to credit cards. Gene Simmons also has his own hit reality show in A&E’s Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which stars the rocker and his family.
