Where Is Woods?

Staying out of the public’s view, Tiger Woods’ actions have caused quite a few rumors and speculation to fly around, the most prominent of which is his supposed sex addiction. It seems that part is true as the world renowned golfer was seen checking himself into Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. One of the two main reasons for this facility are that Dr. Patrick Carnes, a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of sexual addiction since the late 1980s, would be best suited to help Woods. The second reason was because his wife has threatened him with divorce should he not get help for his problem.

Woods has not commented on either of these.

Tiger Woods going to rehab has affected much more then just him. Fellow golfers are worried about the media circus this is and will be created once he leaves rehab. They ask that he appear before, and not at, a gold tournament in order to defuse the ruckus it would cause. Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, is called daily by her husband. Before he can talk to their children though, she interrogates him about his therapy progress. There have been no announcements as to when he will get out or what will happen once he does.
