Where's Janet?

Janet Jackson fails to make tour return Saturday night.

After promising a recovered return from diva Janet Jackson, Live Nation has announced that Saturday's Connecticut stop of her Rock Witchu Tour has been canceled. A released statement reveals that the tour is expected to resume on October 13 in New York, according to Access Hollywood.

"Janet Jackson's anticipated return to her Rock Witchu tour tomorrow (10/11) in Uncasville, CT, has been postponed due to doctor's orders," reps said in an official statement. Don't worry fans! Reps have also confirmed that all tickets will be honored in future rescheduled shows.

The previous statement made by Live Nation was that Janet was "excited" about returning on the road and "being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever." Unfortunately for Janet and all of her eager fans, we'll have to wait until Monday to see if Miss Jackson will have recovered from her yet to be disclosed condition. Since falling ill only hours from her concert in Montreal on September 29, Janet has cancelled a string of tour performances including stops in Boston and North Carolina. The Rock Witchu Tour, Janet's fifth tour, began in September and has been described as a "high voltage performance" and "a flashy, high-budget extravaganza built on well-choreographed dance routines and plenty of theatrics," according to Amy O'Brian of the Vancouver Sun and Jim Harrington of the Oakland Tribune.

With an electric show like that, here's wishing Janet a full and healthy recovery. Get well soon!
