Rihanna isn’t the only one sporting a drastic new hairstyle.
The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, has portrayed a new ‘do as well, but hers is more so non-existent.
The “Whip My Hair” hitmaker, 11, posted a picture of herself with a shaved head on her WhoSay account via Twitter, the New York Daily News reports.
The singer took to the stage many times to perform her hit single, and subsequently threw her hair around. She sings in the song, "Doesn't matter if it's long or short, whip your hair.”
USA Today reports that on January 14, Smith still sported her short hair with swooping bangs in the front at the BET Honors.
Next, she will likely need a wig to cover her bald head when she portrays an iconic hairstyle, as she has signed on to play the lead in a film adaptation of Little Orphan Annie.
E! Online reports that the big screen remake of the famous story is being developed by her father’s Overbrook Entertainment, with the help of Sony Pictures and producer Jay-Z.
In a statement last January, Jay-Z said “We're developing a true superstar in Willow.”
