Before Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, there was Whitney Houston. And while she's no stranger to controversy, her most recent one doesn't involve drugs or alcohol.
The singer reached fame and success belting out songs like "I Will Always Love You" and "One Moment in Time," but she had a little trouble with a different kind of belt. TMZ reported Houston was almost pulled off a Delta Airlines flight because she wouldn't buckle up.
Sources told the website Houston boarded the flight in Atlanta Wednesday afternoon. Before lift off, a crew member asked her to fasten her seat belt at which point she "got diva."
USA Today reported the flight eventually resumed after she allowed another crew member to put her seat belt on for her.
Houston was on her way to Detroit and was simply "exhausted" after missing an earlier flight. Sources close to the singer admitted she "overreacted a little bit," but was "100 percent sober."
Neither the 48-year-old's representatives nor spokespeople for Delta Airlines have responded. Do you think the other passengers deserve vouchers?
