Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Contestant Wins Small Amount

Brad Abbey won the small amount of $1,000 on the ABC hit show.

On "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," host Regis Philbin put Brad Abbey in the hot seat. Abbey, a 26-year-old from Seminole Heights, answered a few questions which successfully brought him to the $1,000 level. However, he struggled to get past the $2,000 level when he encountered difficulty with the question at hand.

Abbey said he had only one regret when he said, "I should have used a lifeline. I should have called a friend." He expressed his joy being on the show and having the chance to be a millionaire. Abbey, an unemployed commercial banker, mentioned how tense it was thinking about the answers while facing Philbin. "It couldn't be better. I had a blast. First time in New York; first time on TV," says Abbey who won only the small amount of $1,000 after losing his job only 2 days before.
