Whoopi Goldberg to the rescue.
The View co-host has adopted a kitten that was thrown out of a car onto the Verrazano bridge last month.
According to The New York Post, the Oscar winner was chosen out of 140 people who wanted to take the kitten home and call he or she their own.
The kitten was initially rescued by animal-control officer Brendon Ocasio, who watched the incident happen.
Goldberg wrote on her Facebook page, “I was finally able to take him home. His nickname is 'Vinny.'"
CBS News reports that Goldberg also said on her Facebook page that her cat, Oliver, was “not too happy” with the new addition to the family.
However, she added, "I think he'll get Oliver to come around sooner than later."
