'Will & Grace' will have its final episode after an eight year run.
The daring and provocative comedy began its run in the 1990's as part of the huge-ratings shows that included 'Sienfeld' and 'Friends' and is the last show to leave its comedic generation.
Stars Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally are sure to miss the shows banter, antics and ever changing love challenges.
"I think the humor of the program got people there and I think the relationship got people to stay," said Max Mutchnick, who created 'Will & Grace' with writing partner David Kohan.
The show definitely did a lot for the gay and lesbian world, creating groundbreaking episodes on every topic imaginable; and allowing the world to see things they may have not been prepared to see.
"Without a doubt, 'Will & Grace' was groundbreaking," said Neil G. Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. "It proved that openly gay characters could be embraced by the American public."
The finally is said to have twists that the audience wont expect and an ending they will not forget. The finale of 'Will & Grace' airs May 18 on NBC.
