Will Smith Carefully Considering Bollywood Role

Will Smith considers himself a man of his word, and because of this he just might blow off the American film industry to star in a Bollywood picture.

Smith, widely considered one of the most bankable movie stars in the world, promised to star in a Bollywood movie. And he has since been taking the advice of Bollywood film, Slumdog Millionaire's, director Danny Boyle.

Boyle is convinced that Smith is serious about trying to explore a different genre of films. Evidence supporting this statement has been seen over the past couple months, when Smith visited India.

"While we were filming there, Will Smith came over twice," Boyle recently said. "There's a massive coming together of Bollywood and Hollywood. It'll only take one person to bring them together and it will be huge."

Smith has also been talking to Indian star Anil Kapoor about starring in a Bollywood film.

The specifics of the meeting have not been released, but Kapoor confirmed the meeting.

"Yes, he came to visit us. He came to my residence. Very nice chap."

Certainly seems that way, but will Smith star in a Bollywood role?
