Will Smith Performs at "Hancock" Premiere
Guests at the Hancock premiere on Monday got an extra surprise when Will Smith gave a special performance, according to People Magazine.
Reuniting with DJ Jazzy Jeff, his old rap partner, Smith performed a range of his hit songs, along with the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," requested by Tyrese Gibson after he jumped on the stage to make the request.
Costar Charlize Theron enjoyed the show from the audience; although, People reports the actress almost didn't show for the premiere.
"Charlize Theron is a fantastic actress-gorgeous, sexy, powerful, so much range," Smith said and continued his joke.
"From drama to comedy, she can do all things fantastic. But she can't tell time! She just can't tell time."
Theron plays Smith's wife in the film who tries to help her superhero husband turn his image around.
With the help of Hancock's public relations representative, played by Jason Bateman, Theron tries to change the negative opinion on Hancock after the damage he causes, regardless of the lives he saved.
As for every superhero, however, obstacles threaten Hancock throughout the film.
Hancock debuts on Wednesday.
