Will TomKat Use In Vitro to Have Twins?

Twins are the new black – and apparently, notorious Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes also want a piece of that. According to In Touch Weekly (via celebitchy.com), the two want to expand their family as quickly as possible, using in vitro fertilization. The upside: They are more likely to have twins that way.

After talking to Holmes, a friend said, "The main topic of conversation was babies. Twins, to be exact!" Holmes and Cruise, who have been married since 2005 and are parents to 3-year-old Suri, have been trying to have another baby for a while now. In vitro fertilization seems the perfect way to not only have one, but two new babies.

"Katie wouldn't mind having two more kids with Tom, but she didn't have the easiest pregnancy with Suri, so she isn't looking forward to two more pregnancies," Katie's friend said. "And Tom loves the idea of twins."

And also, "He's not getting any younger. He doesn't want to be too old by the time his kids are teenagers, so he hopes Katie will get pregnant quickly."
