Will T.R. Knight Leave Grey's Anatomy?

Internet reports have surfaced claiming actor T.R. Knight has decided to leave the show.

T.R. Knight might be leaving Grey's Anatomy after the scandal with costar Isaiah Washington involving a homosexual slur, according to Internet reports.

Knight plays Dr. George O'Malley on the highly popular show. According to MSNBC.com's The Scoop, Knight is upset about the incident and how it was handled. It was reported that Isaiah Washington first referred to Knight using a homosexual slur in October, and then he repeated it during an appearance at the Golden Globe Awards this month. Apparently, Knight was told to keep quiet.

Knight couldn't keep his silence, and we don't blame him. He recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said that Washington absolutely used a homosexual slur directed at him. The incident has caused outrage amongst cast members and viewers alike. An online petition was started demanding that Washington be fired.

Grey's Anatomy won for best ensemble in a drama series at the Screen Actors' Guild Awards Sunday night. Costar and co-creator of the show Chandra Wilson thanked "all ten cast members," and then "the other one in rehab." The rest of the group seemed to enjoy her joke.

Fans are hoping that the award-winning ensemble can stick this one out, and that Washington gets the help he needs.
