Prince William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wrapped up their 11-day North American tour on Sunday afternoon and headed back to London.

The royal couple, who mingled with Hollywood elites this past weekend, were given a special gift to commemorate the Duchess’s first trip to America, and the couple's first joint visit to California.

The couple, who received 4.5 carat diamond polar bear brooches and cufflinks to commemorate their time in Canada, according to People Magazine, received a more tech-forward gift for their visit to California: an Apple iPad 2.

According to multiple reports, California Governor Jerry Brown gave the Duke and Duchess an iPad 2 upon their arrival to Los Angeles on Friday.

The iPad features apps, photos and songs that are California-themed, such as songs by the Mamas and the Papas, LL Cool J, and The Beach Boys, movies like The Social Network, and such apps as Netflix and UC Berkeley, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

Although it wasn’t a week-long stay like it was in Canada, the Duke and Duchess enjoyed their time in the United States.

“[I] really enjoyed it, thank you," said the Duchess to a reporter, according to ABC News, with William saying in a formal speech: "I would just say, on behalf of us both, how grateful we are to have been welcomed so warmly in the Golden State and the City of Angels."
