Winehouse: "I'm FIne"

Singer and husband deny reports of serious problems, but plan a return to rehab.

The reports of singer Amy Winehouse's personal problems have been greatly exaggerated -- if the couple is to be believed, that is. The "Rehab" singer and husband Blake Fielder-Civil announced Friday that they will be returning to the rehab facility where they stayed for only three days. But at the same time, both of them insist that the rumors abounding about drug addiction and overdoses have been blown way out of proportion. "I'm fine, I'm fine, I've put on half a stone (7 pounds) and I'm fine," E! News quotes Winehouse as telling BBC Radio 1's "Newsbeat."

Meanwhile, Fielder-Civil backs his wife up, telling the press that his gal's health issues have been overblown. I think 99 percent of it's not true. I wouldn't believe it... There's a few problems there, but certainly not the magnitude that my mom was falsely quoted as saying....But the main thing is me and Amy are getting better."

As for their flight from the Essex coast-located Causeway rehabilitation center, Fielder-Civil claims it was not a cop-out, but rather a simple errand. "We only came back to get a guitar, but of course in the paper that's interpreted as me and Amy are both so weak that we left after three days."

The remainder of Winehouse's August tour dates have been scrapped, which publicist Tracey Miller attributes to "health issues," but steadfastly denies rehab reports, despite pictures placing the couple at the center.
