Winehouse's Husband Demands Divorce from His Jail Cell

Singer Amy Winehouse's husband, the currently incarcerated Blake Fielder-Civil, has asked his lawyer to commence divorce proceedings.

Amy Whinehouse claims to have kicked the habit, but now her husband is trying to kick the British singer out of their marriage.

According to CNN, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently serving time in a British jail on drug charges, has asked his lawyer to "commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's [Winehouse's] adultery."

This comes just days after a News of the World interview in which Winehouse told the British tabloid, "I've finally escaped from hell. I'm in love again and I don't need drugs."

Winehouse reveals she is in a relationship with 21-year-old Josh Bowman, whom she has been vacationing with in St. Lucia. She also claims that she is now drug-free, although reports from fellow guests seem to indicate that she is still willing to drink alcohol.

Winehouse became an international star after the success of her breakthrough single, "Rehab," the subject matter of which seemed to mirror her real-life struggles with substance abuse and recovery.

She and Fielder-Civil were married in May 2007, and have since been arrested on several drug charges, including an October 2007 bust in Norway for marijuana posession.
