Witherspoon and Gyllenhaal: No Wedding Bells in the Near Future

After her divorce from actor Ryan Phillippe earlier this year, actress Reese Witherspoon revealed that she is in no hurry to get remarried to her current boyfriend, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, in an interview with Parade magazine, according to People magazine.

"Family is all we have in life, but I don't know how I feel about marriage," Witherspoon said. "Obviously, I'm not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again. You sort of reconstitute your family. You find a family with people who come into your life for a reason."

Witherspoon's divorce from Phillippe was finalized in June. The actress has been dating Gyllenhaal since last year and working to make sense of her recent divorce.

"There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce," Witherspoon said in the interview. "Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen. Laying blame is so easy."

The actress is hopeful that she can take the divorce as a learning experience and have a happier marriage in the future.

"When you make wrong choices, you have to take responsibility for them: 'What part of this do I own?'" she said. "I struggle to figure out what made me make those choices. All I can hope for is that I've learned something from it and won't make the same choices again."
