Woody Allen Denies Sex Rumors

Allen insists he isn't making that kind of movie.

Woody Allen has denied speculation that Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson will be partaking in a steamy sex scene in his latest movie, WENN reports.

It was reported that in the upcoming movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the two actresses appear in a threesome with Spanish actor Javier Bardem. While Allen does admit that the movie does tell the tale of a lesbian couple, the scenes are not done "in the sense that they're suggesting."

The 72-year-old Allen thinks the claims are ridiculous. "There's no truth comparable to anything you've read. There's the barest smidgeon of sex in it," he tells England's Empire magazine.

To sum it up with great specificity, Allen remarks: "There are sex scenes between all the characters in the movie: between the men and the women, and the women and the women. That is accurate, but I'd say there's probably not even 20 seconds of sex in the whole picture."

The movie, in all its sex or no sex glory, is set to be released on September 5.
