Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" Diaries Released
Woody Allen's diaries from his latest film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, have been released on the New York Times Web site (just go to nytimes.com and search "Excerpts From the Spanish Diary").
And, as is the case with most of the things that Woody Allen writes, they are extremely funny.
The best example is the first entry, when Allen writes: "Received offer to write and direct film in Barcelona. Must be cautious. Spain is sunny, and I freckle. Money not great either, but agent did manage to get me a 10th of 1 percent of anything the picture does over $400 million after break even."
Vicky Cristina Barcelona received a long line of good reviews. At this point, the film that stars Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem has an 80 percent fresh rating on rottentomatoes.com (which compiles the reviews of a slew of critics).
Another excerpt discusses the attractiveness of Cruz.
"Met with Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. She's ravishing and more sexual than I had imagined. During interview my pants caught fire."
Head on over to Nytimes.com to read more, and if you like Woody Allen films, Vicky Cristina Barcelona is still in theaters.
