The World Just Got a Little Bit Spicier

Announced through a short video at a cinema in the outskirts of London, the Spice Girls are going on tour. The five "grown up" ladies, as Mel B described themselves at their equally as mellow press conference, are planning an 11 city, six continent, one-night-only concert adventure starting in December and finishing in January... or as Geri Halliwell put it, their one-night-only performances are "one night stands." Other details regarding these shows were limited. BBC News reports the girls' comments: "'There will be five girls,' Halliwell declared. 'There will be lights,' added Brown. 'And there'll be topless dancing,' Halliwell teased. 'In the audience.""But the girls did tell of another future plan: the release of a greatest hits album. With this release, the Spice Girls are sure to be back on top as pop superstars. And they might just regain their place as empowering female role models for this world's younger crowds who have yet to experience a Spice Girls world and music domination.
