Wright Penn v. Penn

A lifetime celebrity marriage, in Hollywood, is certainly a rarity. There have been a few couples to defy the odds, however, actress Robin Wright Penn and actor Sean Penn are not one of them.

After 11 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, Robin Wright Penn has filed for a divorce from Sean Penn.

The Associated Press reports divorce papers were filed on Dec. 21, in California, and that the couple are seeking joint custody of their two children.

The impending divorce would mark the second for Sean Penn. Penn was previously married to entertainer Madonna, and the couple ended their marriage in 1989.

Robin Wright Penn is currently credited for work in the film Beowulf, and Sean Penn has received industry accolades, as a director, for his current film Into The Wild.
