'Your Highness' to Reinvent the Knight in Shining Armor Story

When we hear legends of fair maidens in distress and the brave knights that ride off into battle to save said damsels, we never really hear about the knight's ne'er-do-well younger brother. Well, Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green and Danny McBride want to change all that.

Your Highness, which stars McBride as well as Zooey Deschanel, is a story about the younger prince who, in light of trying to compete with his brother's reputation as a heroic knight, falls prey to the temptations of sloth, laziness, wenches and drink. But when his brother's bride-to-be is kidnapped, his father tells him that if he doesn't help bring her back, he is cut off from the royal treasury.

David Gordon Greene is directing the film. Danny McBride wrote the script along with Eastbound and Down writer Ben Best.

The comedy also stars James Franco, Justin Theroux, Natalie Portman and Damian Lewis. Brian Steele, the man inside the costume for many movie monsters, including the new Terminator's T-600 and one of the new Predator aliens in the upcoming prequel is also slated in the film, which means we can expect some extremely good monster madness.
