Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens Reunite to Support Former ‘High School Musical’ Co-Star Ashley Tisdale at DVD Release Party

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens had a friendly reunion Wednesday night at Soho House in West Hollywood, California, where they came out to support former High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale’s launch party for the straight-to-DVD film Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.

The former couple arrived separately on the red carpet and avoided being photographed together, but both stars happily posed alongside Tisdale at the gathering.

While many Hollywood relationships result in nasty breakups, it appears that Efron, 23, and Hudgens, 22, have managed to rekindle their friendship.

“Zac and Vanessa definitely seemed comfortable around each other,” a witness at the event told Us Magazine. “They didn’t seem affectionate or romantic at all, but they were totally relaxed and friendly.”

As for Tisdale, she stars in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, a High School Musical spin-off centering on her character’s pursuit of a Broadway career. The 25-year-old actress revealed at the release party that she would welcome the opportunity to work with Efron and Hudgens again in the future.

“I love them so much!” she confessed. “At the time it’s obviously a little weird for all of us to be in a movie together because it would remind you of High School Musical, but definitely in a couple years we can definitely do it.”

Efron, Hudgens, and Tisdale were joined by fellow HSM alum Lucas Grabeel and Olesya Rubin at last night’s festivities.
