Hasselbeck Keeping Dialogue Open with O'Donnell?
In a recent video posting on her blog, Rosie O'Donnell dismissed the likelihood for further discourse between herself and ex-colleague Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Nonetheless, Hasselbeck remains optimistic, choosing to believe in the "power of forgiveness" and informing her audience on Tuesday's show that they were keeping lines of communication open.
Right-winged Hasselbeck, who had engaged in a heated political (and personal) argument with O'Donnell just last Wednesday, claims that further efforts over the weekend enabled them "to move on in a very positive way," and that she is delighted with the newfound peace. Rosie herself has confirmed that the two exchanged emails - but not much more:
"I haven't spoken to her, and I probably won't...and I think it's just as well," she claims.
It would hardly be bold to suggest that Hasselbeck simply wants to move on; the show, after all, must go on, though inevitably without Rosie's involvement (O'Donnell requested and was granted an early departure from The View). Good luck to you both.
Dialogue closed.
