Diaz's New Love is No Illusion

Actress Cameron Diaz's love life has been in the public eye for years. The 34-year-old Charlie's Angels movie actress dated singer Justin Timberlake for almost 3 1/2 years before breaking up in January. She was recently romantically linked to her friend, pro-surfer Kelly Slater. Now it appears that Diaz is involved with illusionist Criss Angel.

Diaz and Angel met on May 12 at the VH1 Rock Honors in Las Vegas. The two hit it off and two days later attended the Cirque du Soleil show, "LOVE." The couple was spotted again on May 18 getting cozy at a dinner at Vegas's Social House and at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Body English club. Last week, Diaz accompanied her new man to an audio mixing session for his A&E series Mindfreak.

Angel confirmed reports of a relationship at his latest stunt in New York City, where he hung from a crane in a concrete box for 24 hours before it plummeted to the ground. According to Us Weekly, before stepping into the concrete encased box, Angel said, "This is dedicated to my new girl. You know who you are. I'll be thinking of you." Following his escape, the 39-year-old Mindfreak star spoke to the audience and said, "I'd like to dedicate this escape to my girl 'Trouble,' a.k.a. Cameron. I love you baby. Have a safe trip to Europe for your Shrek tour." When asked why he publicly proclaimed his love for the actress, Angel told People, "I just said that because everyone was hounding me about it and at the end of the day I got it out there, so my professional life is there, my personal life is here."

Diaz is currently in Europe promoting her latest film, Shrek the Third. The third season of Angel's hit A&E show Criss Angel Mindfreak, which premiered this week, airs Tuesday nights at 10pm on A&E.
