Lindsay Lohan sued over 2005 Beverly Hills Car Crash
Raymundo Ortega filed a lawsuit against Lindsay Lohan on Thursday, alleging that she was under the influence of alcohol when she crashed into his van on Oct. 4, 2005 in Beverly Hills. Authorities said that she did not appear responsible for the accident at the time.
Ortega seeks at least $200,000 in damages. The Ivy restaurant was also listed as a defendant, with Ortega accusing the staff of giving the "Mean Girls" actress alcoholic drinks even though she is underage.
Last month, Grandeur Inc. sued Lohan in a small claims court, claiming she crashed into a company van. The company seeks $3,624.84 in damages.
Lohan placed herself in rehab after crashing her Mercedes-Benz into a curb on Memorial Day. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and photographed lying on the passenger seat of a friend's car. She turns twenty-one next month.
