Swanson Arrested After Argument with Boyfriend's Ex

Actress Kristy Swanson was arrested late Saturday night after an alleged scuffle with boyfriend Llyod Eisler's ex-wife, Marcia O'Brien. The 37-year-old actress was charged with assaulting O'Brien. Swanson confirmed the arrest saying, "I had to go the police station where I had an appointment at 9 p.m. to begin the process of being arrested." She was later released on bail.

O'Brien pressed charges against Swanson saying that she was attacked by the "Buffy the Vamipire Slayer" movie star while in the presence of Eisler and their children. Swanson's rep, Michael Sands, claims that his client will also file a complaint saying that there are photographs of Swanson's back and upper body showing bruises from where she was injured by O'Brien.

There has been bad blood between Swanson and O'Brien since Swanson appeared on the 2006 FOX reality series "Skating with Celebrities" with Eisler. Following the competition, the two partners began dating. Eisler left O'Brien, who was pregnant at the time, for Swanson.
