Jolie wears $26 dress on the red carpet

Usually when it's time to swagger down the red carpet, most celebrities go to their rolodexes and give their favorite designer a ring to create the most stunning couture gown that will keep them off the worse dressed list. Not Angelina Jolie.

Jolie, who is known for her radiant beauty and voluptuous lips always makes a glamorous appearance on any red carpet event whether she's wearing a Valentino or Roberto Cavalli original. This time Jolie opted to for a $26 dress by an unknown designer.

Jolie, wore an inexpensive silk-velvet dress on the red carpet for the premiere of A Mighty Heart in New York.In an interview on Access Hollywood, Jolie said a friend spotted the dress in boutique while shopping for baby clothes.

The dress may have been inexpensive, but Jolie made up for it with her footwear. She wore an $800 pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
