Lindsay Lohan extends rehab stay
Actress chooses to stay in rehab for extensive care
Lindsay Lohan is staying in rehab for an undetermined time. According to Lohan's mother and manager, Dina Lohan, "she is going to be doing extended care" and the prolonged stay at the Promises "was her choice." As for the starlet's twenty-first birthday her family is supposed to meet her in her home in Los Angeles, but no alcohol will be served at the gathering.
Lohan's choice to prolong her stay in rehab may come as a surprise after her unchanged behavior following her first stay at the center for substance abuse treatment in January. She checked herself in again after partying hard Memorial Day weekend, which culminated with the actress crashing her car into a curb while driving under the influence and being photographed by paparazzi passed out in the front seat of a friend's car.
Dina Lohan claims she speaks with her daughter everyday and "she's doing great."
